Testimonials

June, 2009
Mike Micene has been training my wife and I for over three years on a regular basis, usually twice a week. The professionalism he has demonstrated and the level of expertise in our training is unparallel to any training program we have ever participated in.
Mike has a unique quality in that he is most encouraging with me and the rest of his clients towards their personal technique and efforts which keeps me wanting to improve and reach my maximum effort. Because of his knowledge and attitude, I look forward to each training session.
I am convinced that Mike Micene has helped me reach a level of fitness that I otherwise would never have come close to on my own.
Sincerely,

Thanks Mike,
With Mikes help I have been able to develop a "lifestyle" fitness plan that works for me. Mike has the ability to listen, and work within ones needs to make you feel good about yourself.
I'm 52 years old, and my sons are teenagers that have different needs- Mike has the ability to adapt training goals for all ages.
The professional baseball background, ongoing study in all the new training techniques, and people skills are reasons why Mike is good at what he does.

Mike Micene is the best trainer we have ever had and we have had quite a few trainers over the years. Working with Mike gives one the confidence that every move one makes is being carefully watched. One can see oneself making progress and, all the while, enjoy his good humor and outgoing personality. Simply put, Mike is the best.

I have been training with mike since January of this year, with some prior good background with other trainers. Mike is the best I have worked with, an outstanding professional, who brings an expertise and knowledge to the job while also bringing himself and his sense of humor. He takes great care to first get a measure of his clients to make sure he is pushing them to meet their goals, but doing so at their pace. This is very important as it allows him to both train athletes, first timers and people like me! He uses several key philosophies, including ensuring that exercises and weight training are performed properly for the maximum benefit while minimizing risk of injury (he is very careful about technique); using a constant pressure and resistance approach to ensure that muscles are under constant motion and use; and varying exercises to avoid getting into boring routines.
After an hour with mike, you are both very tired but at the same time looking forward to the next workout!
